a stock block with a composite headgasket has to many imperfections to seal a MHG

i have done it where i have not removed the upper arms....and i have never remover the washer res...fender liner yes.

jdub, im confused my car has always built like 3 psi. and all of the forced induction cars at work. evos, stis, talon, mk4s, srt 4s and so on all act the same way

it wont build alot.... your exhaust probalby has alot to do with it. boost leak test it just to be sure..i would at least. these cars are 20 years old

also you dont order a headgasket in any thickness until you know how much the machine shop is goinng to remove....sorry if i sound like a dick i dont want you to get this far into this without following the correct steps or your going to be dissapointed.
