Well exhaust will be no good to you in a 2J swap.
A manual conversion really is not a conversion at all for you as you need a engine/harness/ecu and transmission
The chassis it self is universal in the sense no holes need to be cut to make it auto or manual.
You just need to buy the manual...
So the spots that need sealent is betwen the block and lower timing cover?
Or will actually the sealent be in between the head gasket and block.
Sorry just wanting to make sure I do it right before I put my head back on.
Could you point out these to spots in a photo or something?
I keep reading this as well and don't remember doing this my self when I did my head gasket 2years ago.
I believe a intake adapter that does not fit properly or is not on correctly can trigger it and also cause bucking.
But othen then that there is nothing that would cause it other then wiring or ecu and the afm it self.
Do not go more then 90ft lbs that's the amount they were made for.
If you do it right it will seal as for rod knock development well as long as you keep clean oil in it you should be okay.
