Coolant over flow bottle needs to be relocated but that's typical for
most all ic kits....and the two couplers that go on the ic are tricky to install as there is very little room...if you swear enough times they'll slip right in:-)
$600 is right up there with all the other hoods...what you complaining about? I'm sure if he came up with 70 people it would be worth a discount but for 15 that's hardly worth the effort considering there are many cf hoods avalible for our car as is.
My lack of motivation, elbow grease, and "can do" attitude.
The brackets that came with the ic suck...although they did the job...they are flimsy and will break easy....I'll be making new ones asap!
did a little more to the car tonight...
mounting the ic was a pain but i got it done....broke two wrenches doing something i forget so looks like ill be running to sears to exchange them today before work.
i would use the gas struts but be very carefull drilling out the carbon fiber as it splinters very easy...infact id use a dremel to drill it. also epoxy a nice strong washer on either side of the hole so it distributes the load....youll just have to be careful when opening and closing the hood.
You don't need to do anything other than jumper the neutral safety switch wires where the trans plugs into the wireharness under the intake mani....leave the harness and ecu in....you're good to go already:-)
Fuckin a I completely over looked that....for some reason I thought there were two switches for the clutch pedal...damn that's awesome as my clutch pedal seems to sit lower than my brake....tits!
