You could run the engine on 7mgte electronics for the most part therefore any piggyback that we use will work but not for big power....you'd want a standalone if you were serious about making horsepower...tuning this engine is just like tuning a 7m...
But again if raw stupid amounts of power is...
I believe it effects na supras most as it gave me these exact results when my cable broke and my friends turbo supra wasn't effected at all....but it's the first thing that came to my head as I made a thread similar to this and jdub or someone smart said it's my speedo and sure as shit I fixed...
Same internals as a gtte just higher comp and no squirters....so pretty much the same as a turbo 2j as it's all in the tune....although you'll be limited on power on pump gas as detionation is a problem in higher comp engines but that's why god made meth injection and race gas:-)
No war man;-)
I just want you to know the risk involved if you use the belts as set up.
Either way...I believe I came 2 times looking at your car....your interior brings the O face:-)!
Non of the twin turbo engines fit well...need to pound the firewall in generally...but a 2jzge is cheap as hell and you can use regular 7m ic piping for the most part....intake mani pretty much routes the same...all that you save could go towards upgrades or other parts.
Anyone who specializes in anything doesn't work cheap....atleast not in the world I live in:-(....think about that.
Whatever you decide....try to keep the car as it's not worth selling as you won't get what it's worth.....and I'm tired of seeing it on craigslist as I damn near called you the...
Sorry iPhone fail....youre close to Philly ruffly and supras just don't bring much bank especially if they are rodknocked....
If you're thinking of swaping another motor because you want to save time then I hate to burst your bubble but your down time would be much more! If you need a crank...
Had he missed just one gear he probably would have grenaded the trans...it's not worth the risk and really doesn't do much for you....it's pointless and does more harm than good!
That seatbelt setup isn't even race legal....an inspector "shouldn't" let that set up on the track....
How would a 40mph impact that paralizes you make you feel? What would life be like if you couldn't even rub one out let alone get it up? As a guy, I'd beg for death if my junk was not...
the reason why they aren't dot approved is because they didn't pay for the dot inspection....as far as the harness bar...they will still work but you just don't wrap the harness around the bar....instead you set it up the exact same as you have it there but route the belts up over the bar...
Did the problem start soon after speedo stopped working? :-)
a broken speedo fails to send a speed signal to the ecu causing this exact issue....sometimes it stalls and some times to doesn't...almost a 50/50 chance....sound about right?
You should still use a harness bar bro....if you get in a serious head on accident you run the risk of compressing your spine with that setup. You need something to stop the downward tug of the belts which a harness bar will do just that.
