Hey man, I think the 57 is a good idea, do a search on the lightweight pulleys especially the crank pulley. You can search it here you will see why it isn't a good idea to use them, you can google it too. Haven't gotten to see your car yet, won't be running for this meet but looking forward...

Could be the switch, a loose connection, corroded ground, maybe a wire is pinched. You should take a look and check around and see. Test the switch and go from there.
