Here's an easy way to look at it. If you keep a 35mm offset but progressively get wider, the width will be split evenly betwween the inside and outside. So, if you go from a 17x8 (35mm) to a 17x9 (35mm)...1/2 inch to the inside width, and 1/2 inch to the outside. I always take a ruler and draw...
