well finally got my car on a dyno and such. It was a mustang dyno as well. The car has these mods:
apexi intake
tanabe catback+3inch downpipe(no cats on the entire car)
mbc

He told me to do the runs in 3rd gear(though I asked him if they where sopuse to be done in 4th and he said no) and I got 3 pulls
first run(@ like 12 psi):
hp:223.1@4750
tq:253.4@4500

second run(@ like 12 psi)
hp:223.3@4500
tq:260.1@4500

third run(i got out and adjusted the boost controller and it was aty 14 psi, but i think my boost gauge is off as i usally hit fuel cut pretty close to that)
hp:223.9@4750
tq:262.1@4250

I dunno if these are good numbers or not but let me know. I would post the dybo charts but I don't have a scanner or digi cam.

NOYFB!
Seems like pretty good numbers for bpu. I found out awhile back, that it's not always just about the boost,:icon_surp tuning is huge too!
Are you on a CF-18 base?:icon_bigg

So third run you've almost hit the stock power rating ;)!

Well done <golf clap>
Not to step on any toes (Who the hell am I anyway?)........BUT

1. Isn't our stock HP 232 at the crank?

2. Remember this was on a Mustang dyno, and you should adjust up about 15%. That would put him at about 265 at the wheels. That's not great, but not bad for the limited upgrades.

My question is.......How did he get 14lbs of boost with those few mods?

Those are decent numbers for the mods. Besides a downpipe with integrated elbow, or SS elbow, what is next?

You should have more than enough power to go deep into the 14's, maybe 13's with sticky tires. Post your scan, if you have one, in the turbo sticky.

I'd get a new downpipe instead of a intercooler. Downpipe will help alot more than the intercooler. Stock intercooler is fine for you right now. Just my two cents worth..................lol

not bad for the mods and on a mustang dyno.

what concerns me tho is the boost level gain. going up 2 psi made very little difference. i would have expected about 15rwhp and 20rwtq increase.
funny thing, you hit your peak torque earlier but your hp later with the increase in boost. odd....

But he proved he's got 223HP.

I would def. get a downpipe with an integrated elbow (doesn't really matter what brand. They all give similar gains, that is to say, a HELL of a lot more power over a stock elbow with an aftermarket downpipe). I would then worry about hardpipes, BOV and IC. And then get your boost gauge hooked up differently, wherever you've got it teed at now isn't very accurate sounding to me (and I believe you mentioned it too).
