Those look great!
I especially like the maroon Supra. So clean and stock. Makes me really, REALLY want another one for a daily. Just an N/A... At least to start with... :)

Ha yeah. I'd like to get some different rims soon and follow your lead.
BTW Talked with insurance and they will cover it all as far as I know. I'll also get a rental. Woot!
Going to see if they can repaint the front bumper as it needs a little TLC to begin with.

Sad update.
Clutch welded but got it repaired by southbend. Shipped the clutch out on a Monday and got the resurfaced flywheel and clutch disk back on Friday morning.
Pics:
I have pictures of the new one but not on me, I'll update that later.
Also... My girlfriends neighbor just...
Well I took the advice and pulled the transmission out and I mailed it to South Bend for them to "repair/replace" the clutch and machine the flywheel. Free of charge, of course... (Besides shipping which wasn't bad)
Took me about 3 hrs or so to get it pulled but all in all, not as as bad as I...
Just broke the clutch free.
Took a little bit of prying and I got it off. However there is a little bit of clutch material still left on the flywheel. I tried gently scraping some away with the putty knife and not much came off.
Suggestions please!!!
Thanks!

I'd like to do that right off the bat, however funds are very tight right now.
Just have to make it to May to finish college! Woot. But then I'll need to find a steady job lol.
Thanks for the advice man.

Okay the pressure plate is nearly all the way off. I backed the bolts out nearly all the way just to get a better look at whats going on.
After class I'm going to swing by the scene shop I work at and grab something like a putty knife, per Zach's advice, and have at it during my lunch break...
How would you guys recommend prying it? Pry bar with a cloth to minimize damage? The pressure plate wouldn't necessarily be too difficult to get off correct? Just seems like a tight fit.
Thanks again guys.

Well... I put the rear up on jack stands, started it in gear and slammed on the brakes once it was up to speed. No luck. Higher RPM and no luck. And so on and so forth with no luck.
I guess now I have to get balls enough to drop the car :-)
I spoke with southbend, I'm waiting a response.
I...
That's exactly what I was afraid of... In case that's really what it is, what's the best plan of attack? Just tilting the engine back (after the mounts are unbolted and all other necessary parts) and getting to the bolts like that? Or should I just pull the engine and transmission both...
Well, upon further inspection I've realized that the clutch is acting as if the pedal is being pushed down on the floor constantly and the slave cylinder seems to be working just fine.
When the car is off, I can put the transmission into any gear without a problem WITHOUT pressing the clutch...
Well last night after somewhat of a spirited launch (4K RPM slipped, NOT dumped) the clutch stopped engaging altogether. I haven't had any issues with the clutch before this.
The pedal still has pressure however the clutch will not engage or disengage. So today I jacked it up, took the...
Zach,
The car is coming along very well! I'm really glad to see progress on this project!
I'm expecting a ride when I get home in December at bone daddys.

Wow guys I had no idea this thread was bumped! I figured it was set back to be in SupraMania history for a while lol.
The car is doing well. Just got back to Indiana with it after a summer in Texas. Had the A/C working for a bit but now I need a new compressor... FML. But luckily, summer is...
I know I need to buy a catch can regardless of if it fixes this or not.
If I start driving it off of cold-start when the stock temp gauge is a bit up from the C mark after it has already started to smoke a tiny bit, after i start driving it goes away... I still need to inspect my turbo. I had...
That's something I was a little afraid of. Maybe I can get it rebuilt locally... When I took off the intake pipe there was a little oil at the bottom of the inlet.
Does that pretty much confirm it?
Thanks!
