I have electric fans on the car, so I wont be doing a clutch fan. But anyway, had an idea tonight for a temporary fix. I filled the hydro pump with the proper fluid then blocked off the cut hoses on it. Started the car up and the sound was gone :) Has anyone done this before to keep it...
Just yesterday I got my second supra. I traded my Eclipse for it and its a 1jz/ Stinger Stand alone, swapped mk3. Just got it home and the hydro pump pulley is starting to make a wierd squelling noise. Does this mean the pump needs replaced? No coolant is leaking and the car is not over heating...
so does anybody have anything good to prove with this turbo? getting another 7m that stock with a fully built motor, looking to get a bolt on turbo.... looks like these turbo's got more expensive since the last time i looked at them 2 years ago on ebay. Any advice with this turbo at this point?
Why were you going down in power?? Seems like you should be making more than 417hp at 20psi with that 67mm. I made 471hp at 19psi with a 67mm on a 7m....
Sorry guys, iv been really busy and my internet has been screwing around with me. So far the car is driving really nice, only problem was i had to get a new ISC valve. When i was tightening mine down the metal flange on it broke. So I couldn't bolt it back on. Just got the new valve in the mail...
I was once saying the same thing about other supra's... but I have finally reached that point that I'v wanted to be at for so long. . . its a good feeling. :) Build your car exactly like you want it. you'll be there one day. And it will be all worth while.

I went that route, and personally I wouldn't waste the money on a an upgraded ct. Its not much more to go T4, you'll make a lot more power, and you know in the end that's where you want to be anyway. Dont waste the time and money. Just my .02

well after several more days of getting everything to fit and work properly, I finally got the car running.... Boy was I happy to hear it fire up after sitting for nearly 6 months. all the hard work paid off. I was worried after doing all this work that maybe I wouldn't be able to get it to...
I bought the FFIM off a member on this site. I think i paid close to $400 with shipping for it. Im going to be running a Maft setup, with the stock ecu still. The intercooler is like 31" x 15 x 3 i think. It has a 3" inlet and outlet. and im running all 3in piping
made some progress this past weekend... finally got the motor put in the car and started reconnecting everything.. slow process, having to re-wire a bunch of stuff, and lengthen some plug wires. here is a somewhat current picture. got some other stuff installed after this picture was taken, but...
