I have to replace it on all 3 of my supras, as they're all peeled/cracked/rusty... I sprayed my 89's with a rubberized spray called "PlastiDip" so far it's held up really well, but I'd rather just replace it..

I agree with the above statements... I can't stand the brake light thing, especially American cars, since American manufacturers love to use the brake lights as signals (to save on bulbs or what?), and when one of those bulbs blows, then the person is left without a signal, brake light, or...

because this part already existed, these guys just improved it.. a pre-89 air guide would have to pretty much be made from scratch, as it's a different shape, and depth... also, most pre 89 folks don't seem to spend as much money on their cars as 89+ guys, maybe since they're not as rare...

I haven't really driven my 89 since early January, and I'm already missing it.. as soon as I think "okay, I 'll take her to work tomorrow", I see a bunch of cops, construction and one of those portable smog stations.. scares the shit out of me.. plus it starts to rain..:(
