There's a very very long thread about that turbo on here. Find and read that thread, those turbo's have some issues that need to be worked out before using them. One of them is the compressor housing needs sealed other wise most will leak boost causing you to run low boost.

I'm trying to figure out what oil I should put in my Supra. I just got it about a month ago and have no idea what oil its been running on, if that matters. Its a 1990 7mgte with 137k miles on it. As far as I know its the stock motor, only thing I know thats been done to it is an HKS metal head...

Another question, I'v always had manual cars, so with an auto is the recirculating bov really needed? I wont be losing boost inbetween gears and such.

would i be able to get one of these at auto zone? if so does anyone know the part number? I tried looking on there site but couldnt find anything

So I shimmed the wastegate on the turbo and I only got 1 more pound of boost. At first I put 1 nut on each side which is as thick as 3 washers. went from 4psi on the stock gauge to about 5. So I put another nut on each side and the boos level stayed the same at 5psi. Would this be from a boost...
