To low of boost

I just put my cx racing t61 turbo on and I am only getting 4lbs max out of it, when its advertised at 8. Is there any way I can increase the boost by taking the rod of the wastegate and turn it out. I was just wondering if anyone else on here had the same problem?

There's a very very long thread about that turbo on here. Find and read that thread, those turbo's have some issues that need to be worked out before using them. One of them is the compressor housing needs sealed other wise most will leak boost causing you to run low boost.
