I read that you want a 2mm tms mhg....but you haven't started your build yet....you don't pick a hg until you know how much tou have machined off the block and head in order to keep a good comp ratio.....
And I suspose a 1j or 2j never gets rod knock ;)
Question 1: remove 3000 pipe,pcv, isc pipes, coils packs, valve cover, follow torgue sequance and torgue rate for whatever fastenerss you have
Ques.2 remove engine, remove head, have block and head decked and smooth to a 30 ra, install mhg and use arp studs
