Alright boys, here's the scoop. I'm in the process of purchasing a beautiful 1987 Turbo model Supra. The car is OEM stock, right down to the cheesy tape deck and 22 year old rusting exhaust. The car has roughly 130K on it, but I have faith in the engine since it's a (documented:biglaugh Toyota reman'd engine installed around 100k since the previous owner's mechanic didn't know how to fix BHG and ended up fucking the OG motor's head.
The CT26 pulls strong and hard, even at low RPM's.
The car is more powerful than my old Supra (Alpha Werefox's current car) - even through it's A340E.
This car is so mine.
But I know - I know I can do more. The thing is, I've never dealed with turbos before. I'm trying to seek as much power as I can without raising the boost too much; where would I begin?
And ultimately, what kind of horsepower can I expect out of the 7M-GTE through 'supporting' engine mods that don't require replacing the turbine or cracking open the head/block?
