I thought the hks one was a hollinger adapted to fit the 7m? Julian's r154 internals were all custom machined to his specs and is well beyond an os giken kit, too.

As far as I know, Julian is the only one with an R154 dogbox. I talked to him about this awhile back and I know how much it cost him to build it. I'm saving up for a kit :) He said the price might go down if a number of people order one. I can't even afford to type the price here :)

Yes, that was a burnsstainless ultralight race muffler. 3.5" I.D. Still have the 7m in that video. Car now has a 2jz and 4" exhaust. It does not sound like that anymore. ~Ron

I don't like the idea of aluminum engine undercover. I know that heat rises and some may think it won't matter. But I think it's just going to trap/reflect heat. Not to mention noise. Otherwise, I would have made one already. Just my $.02 :)

Making my own car. Chromoly tube chassis or aluminum frame. Mid engine, 1.5 JZ vvti, high compression. Small turbo. Dry sump, etc. It will take a few years to finish. I don't know when I will start it. :D

You need to move that egt probe right at the downpipe. Maybe extend the wire and put it right at the muffler. That should lower the temp readings :D God luck man.

Randy how do you have your 2 step set? Can you choose ign cut only? fuel cut only? both? Just wondering.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I seem to remember that the electric switch/valve is also a check valve? Or is that for a different purpose? ~Ron
