how'd you recirculate it? I have a recirculating tip that fits a 1" ID hose, but it won't plug into the accordian pipe. Did you get an adapter? if so, from where..?
she's looking great though, no doubt about it..!
aftermarket stereo or alarm..?
seems like something's constantly pulling current and draining it. If he doesn't drive it very often, the alternator has no time to charge the battery, so it dies..
gracers are definitely nice, however everyone has one..
I say go stock 89 style, with a shine front IC guide, and bomex rear/sides (even though everyone has those too; including myself)
I love it..!!
Mine should be coming within the next week or so...
I'm still debating on painting it, or keeping it black, but since my car is white, and i have a CF hood for contrast, it shouldn't matter..
on a side-note, how are you guys installing yours..?
I was thinking of...
In Japan, they go by the year of actual production, which would make my '89 an '88, and my '92 a '91...
the US likes to use the next year as the model year if it's past a certain point. So while the Turbo A was produced in '88, by US standards, they would be considered '89's..
all 3 of mine do it, and I'm pretty sure it's the lower ball-joints..
although, I did get my 89 aligned recently, and I don't recall it doing it recently, I'll report back when it's back on the road (few weeks)
but my 92 DD definitely does do it..
it's more like a creaking noise, if I...
maybe not all Toyota cars, but many are interchangeable..
the TRD leather shift knob does fit without any mods (I have one in my 92), so you don't have to worry about that one..
also, the W58 and R154 use the exact same shifter, so that shouldn't be an issue when selecting..
don't know why you'd do it, but it's a complete bolt-on affair..
only problem is the lower trim will not match, but you can always swap trim, which is another step-back, but once painted, pre 89 trim looks great..
prepare to have your supra up on jack stands as well..!!
but seriously, take care of your car and it'll reward you..
post up some pics of the charger, I love Detroit muscle..!
