I've welded a few dampners right to crank for a a few custmers over the years... There is always a right way and a wrong way and the easy way that will work... myself if i was going to pull motor out to fix crank... I would just get a GOOD crank.. instead of fixing keyway...

all depends on the parts they use... if they are cheap knock off stuff then no not worth it... but as long as good pistons... toyota/npr or equal are used and good bearings and a good oil pump and the most importain... did the person puting it together do it right...

Yep.. we have all dont it...there is always weedwacker gas handy...and never just reg gas...

it wont hurt anything... If anything it lubricted the top end of engine... and it wont hurt carb at all... just drain put in fresh and run it some...
