6m cranks are labeled "6M" on the edge of one of the middle weights, they also have weird markings(they look like Japanese symbols?), that i did not see on my 7m crank. You can just tell, the 7m crank is a lot more beefeier!
Its cool, im more just looking to lay down a really nice time at the track, not to just say i have 600HP.
I.J. can we hear your procedure for overboring?
So yeah i posted up in the wanted section, if anyone sees this that has one i can borrow please PM me so we can worki it out(ill pay you).
I AM building a 600 car( this thread is for engine mechanical, not lectures on tires, and if it is of your concern im running 255/60R15 E.t. streets on jegs sport stars, and M/t front runners)P.s. i never once stated im on a dirt cheap budget my friend, and please do not patronize me;)...just...
Thanks guys. So the reason i ask is 1. everyone on here goes nuts when they hear you didnt use one. and 2. I was reading through my "Engine Blueprinting" book and it was stating the extremes that some guys go to to replicate the stresses on the block while in use, like bolting on engine mounts...
I just want a full raw answer as to how important they are, im possibly doing a CP piston build so .040 over is called for. How badly will not using a tourqe plate affect performance? im expecting 600HP out of this next motor, tops. O and are these torque plates made specificly for the 7M, and...
R32s are slower than dogshit, i destroyed one from a 60 roll with nothing but an exhaust, k&n, and my new clutch setup. He accordingly had an exhaust. It was quite embarassing for VDUUUb to say the least IMO!
So let me get this straight, you dont think a 2 step, or any other launch control cant be integrated into a street car?
O and my man, i will be installing my DIS4 that i just purchased this coming weekend... i know the theroies, and i have done my research, i can assure you THAT:3d_frown:
I think thats the same with all of these cars:biglaugh:. Still good to see more and more 1/8th videos poping up!
Ok well here it is, i dont want to take over this thread, but i cant find the picture of my timeslip, its in the video though. Keep in mind this was my first time to the track in...
Has almost nothing to do with using a 2 step, or the bee*r???
Do you not know what the search bar is for? Honestly, its like you guys are getting dumber by the day! Either way try the links and do a little searching next time, it took me literally two seconds to come up with these...
Looking good, is your car an auto? Those trap speeds seem a little low for that amount of boost, you should be well into a 70+ MPH speed. I ran a 9.23 @ something like 73Mph with a dieing headgasket, and some really shitty 18in goodyear eagles.
Damn that sucks. So you cant pull timing, thats wanted i wanted to do around 14 pounds on the stock turbo. So what your saying is you just added 5 degrees across the entire map, and then pulled from that? What kind of set up was this on?
