    stripped targa bolt

I have seen where people have bought replacement gaskets. It seems like they are not too bad from the dealer. Maybe $75-100 per gasket? I can't remember, it could have been cheaper. I saw some targa hardware in a parts thread just yesterday on here.

    want accelrate

All you need to do is remove the shroud over the instrument panel. This requires removing the black stereo bezel somewhat to reach the screw in the bottom right corner. It has no screw in that area, but I'm not positive if you need to pull enough to need to take out any screws. You also have to...

I'm just sayin that you shouldn't fall for major problems disguised as a bad ECU. You are right, an ECU can usually be found for $50 (+/-). It could be that he is trying to run a N/A AFM, or something along those lines.

i hope this isn't a waste of time or anything... let's find out!!

I would question how he knows it needs an ECU, and then post the answer here. If you read the descriptions of all of the engine codes on cygnus, you will see that almost all of them suggest ECU as a possible source of the problem. It may or may not need an ECU. The answer he provides might...

My motor is out right now, but I have no clue how to measure it. I'll probably be doing some work on that side of the motor tonight too.

I've seen that bumper on two different Red cars (buying one of those saturday) and I hate it on both. It looks very sexy on the black though.
