    My 1991 Jay Blue Supra

Soft scrub from the grocery store, it will remove alot of the oxydation, but you will need to do the 3 step Meguiars immediately to seal and protect the paint because it removes wax and everything else on the paint. True Dat my brother. I mean, all one has to do is a Google search on "World...

    My 1991 Jay Blue Supra

I don't know what you paid for the car, but there's no way that you paid too much for it. It's getting near impossible to find them in that great of shape any longer, it looks like it can be brought back to like new condition really easily. These cars are definitely worth restoring, they're...

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

Nothing short of AMAZING, you should be extremely proud of that ride Brad! What's really cool is that it got built, almost exactly as you described it way back at the beginning of this thread almost 2 years ago.

    New guy from tx

Welcome to SupraMania. If money is not an problem, definitely go with a 2JZ. However, they're expensive, I am currently building a 2JZ car and everything seems to be twice the cost of a 7M. A properly built and maintained 7M will serve you very well for many, many years. We'll probably have...

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

Congrats Brad (& Randy). That car is nothing short of amazing, it will definitely be famous. Most of the general public won't have a clue what it is, and it's sure to stop traffic wherever it goes. This shot speaks volumes.

    The best A70 trainwrecks.

That's not vinyl, looks to me like spray paint and some masking skills over a black primer base. Looks like he's goofing until he can paint the car. Failure of epic proportions!

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

First I've heard of this, but judging from your Avatar, you two are not an item at the moment??? If so, sad day indeed Sean. Thanks D34DC311, I'm doing alot of wiring, etc. at the moment, not too much to see in pictures really.

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

I really like these wheels, but at first I thought the exact same thing. Several of us voted on wheel choices and that wheel won out. I installed the rear brakes last night, badass brakes for sure. You guys plan to make it out, it's the first weekend of October at the Texas Motor Speedway...

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

The wheels fit perfect, 285's on the rear and 245's up front. The wheel centers are bright silver. I think that in the end I'll paint the centers, trim and bumpers all bronze or gun metal or satin silver to where everything matches.

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

Poodles, I bought the SRT to replace my pickup, I was spending $100 a week on gas in that thing. The Caliber gets 31mpg (6 speed), handles like a dream, and the guys that have figured out how to launch them have been running high 13's bone stock. I just wanted a daily driver that got decent...

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

The Family Truckster. That car got the most attention throughout the entire tour. It will definitely make Hot Rod Magazine. He said that he studied the movie and tried to copy it as exact as possible. I asked him how he made all of the body moldings, his answer was "Body Puddy". I just shook...

Damn Ronnie, I apologize, but I got all excited because when I read the title I saw another IJ thread, as in "EYE JAY" thread. Good luck with the install none the less. Lance

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

I took these pics just before we left for the Power Tour. I'll get back working on it soon and post more updates. The people at Spectre Performance are super cool people. They just said to take our time and finish the car properly. We'll debut the car in October at the Good Guy...

The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

I'm running a stock ECU for simplicity. The Aristo engine runs a MAP ECU which will be good for 18psi. I have a Greddy BCC to get past fuel cut, and an Apexi Neo SAFC. If I were to guess, I'd say this car will weigh about 2700 lbs. at the most. There's not much weight on the rear end, so...
