I just finished building a 2JZ-GTE, they are definitely more expensive to build than a 7M-GTE. Personally, I would build a 7M over a 1JZ, I can't get past the sound of the 1JZ, I think they sound like a motorbike. But that's just my personal opinion, build what you like.
