Nice, good job! I'm thinking about going ProEFI sometime. You planning on running E85 with it?

The bay is painted! Not bad for my first time spraying with an HVLP gun (if I do say so myself ;) ): Sanded: Primed: Laying down the base coat: ...and after the clear coat!

    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

I have a LOT of catching up to do in this thread. I've been busy, but lazy about updating this thread. Block, head, and flywheel back from the machine shop: Bottom end assembly: Oil pump primed with assembly lube: Larger bearing clearances per request (going to run...

7M block: what is this port?

Nothing on the timing cover for it. Good to know! Though I thought just the one 14mm needed sealant? (according to the tsrm)

7M block: what is this port?

I'm referring to the one at the upper left of the crank snout. It appears to not be used, but it also doesn't look like it bottoms out like the rest (there is something else back there). I'm thinking it's just connected to the main stud threads (no clue why), but I want to make sure it isn't an...

First signs and ways to tell if you have rod knock??

FWIW my engine made the same noise as that (from what I can tell in the video). During the tear down this winter all of my rod and main bearings looked good (not perfect but definitely not knocking). My noise seemed to be coming from the rear/bottom of the engine. Flywheel bolts were tight too...

Bump! I know some of you guys have replaced these.

    Crankshaft oil galley plug size

I need to replace one of my crankshaft oil galley plugs as it stripped and needs to be drilled out. I ordered some 12x1.25 plugs but they are too small. Toyota apparently does not sell these independent of the crank, so I need to source them elsewhere. Anybody know the thread size of these buggers?

    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

    PTR210, Supra FFIM project

I can attest to this. Mine started leaking past the throttle plate and shaft seals so much to raise my warm idle to 1400 rpm. Sprayed the inside down with some dry moly lube and it helped quite a bit.

    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

We'll see how far it gets me :). I have timing control wired in, so it's about as close as I can get to a standalone for now.

    Arknotts' 92 Teal Build

All good ideas. If I get time I'll have some AN fittings put in the valve covers. Otherwise it will be shelved for a future date. :) Thanks for the pics, that helps a lot! Unfortunately I won't have anything to compare the cams too as I'm doing a laundry list of other stuff at the same time...
