i have the original JT61GT and love it. Been running it for over 2 (3 now? man time flies) and its great. If I had to do it again now I would go with the BB option.

you have a boost leak. your afm is seeing alot of air, between the afm and the combustion chamber you are leaking it out, when the remaining air hits the chamber theres alot of fuel there to meet it...

you pull the afm from a lex v8 (search to find model). the 550cc injectors are either from an FC RX-7 (search for specific years) or get some RC injectors from ebay or a reputable dealer.

Get arps for headblots (or studs depending on you choice) and a metal head gasket. HKS is still one of the best. Get the head and block done at the same place to get to correct RA. Hot tanking the block wouldn't be a bad idea.
