ummm this actually is true.... theres a reason the lex/550 combo works together quite well. you can make more power with some tuning after but you can also do that with the stock afm and 440s....
to the op: a 46 trim really doesn't need anything else and is very close to the stock ct26.
But that's with any setup I would think? Is the MAFT-Pro completely undrivable (ie you can't install at home and make it to a dyno using a highway?) That would be possible with a VPC setup (in fact I took my car to the dyno to tune and things were very close across the board) but could be...
i have an HKS VPC w/ 550 cp and the PNP harness. Its great and is a set it and forget it kind of mod. i have heard alot of good things about the MAFT-Pro though
use the wudi installer. works great! i came up from 8.04 and the step to 10.10 has been huge. so far installed on all the machines i asked it to and nearly everything works on first boot (ran into a problem with a wireless usb draft n adaptor and you need to point it to better video drivers)...
its a right of passage for a supra owner. do a compression test and report back with the results. it is possible you have a leak but if you havent noticed a puddle and cant find any kind of trail a bhg is probable.
if it is a bhg do it once and do it right and you wont need to worry about...
you dont need to do anything. just plug and play but make sure its from the same series (pre89 - yellow plugs, post89 - gray plugs, if you have an 89 be very careful)
I'm an engineering tech for an oil and gas company here in Plano. I work in the Reserves group and act as a go between for the Business Development and IT departments, run our Aries db, and help out in our simulation group as needed. It's actually alot of fun and I'm starting to head more in...
im pushing a Q9550 to 3.4 @ (stock is 2.83 ghz) stock voltage currently on my main rig. Use Intel burnin test, will quickly get your rig alot hotter than you thought it would go. I have an Athlon II in the garage (itx build!) with a mild OC (2.8 -> 3.2) but it gets alot hotter out there in an...
Funny you bring this up. I just also bought the same router but have a terrible wireless tranfer rate(wired is 60-80 MB/sec. Wireless is in the 10kb/s range)...
clipping will change when it spools and lower how much it flows. i never had an upgraded ct on my car but i think 10 degrees is "normal". the garrett turbo you talked about will need either an adaptor or a new manifold, downpipe, oil and water lines (if so equipped) . you didnt list any specs...
this..... go vpc and never look back! :) get the metal one but be prepared to make some mods. the pro for it is you can get different sized couplers to go between the stock afm and the lex afm as needed.
