Been a big fan of Diablo. I have I and II but can't finish either one. It gets too difficult towards the end. Besides, don't have that kind of patience anymore.
I don't see where the rust is all that bad. To me the car looks pretty damn good. My car ticks a little too but it's normal. Let's see some interior pics and some better pics of this "rot".

If you already have the plug then yes, it is plug and play. I did the swap so I could have the plug. My 87T did not have a SM but was already wired for it. Your 87T most likely has the plug too. It'll be above the break pedal. It's a white-ish, yellow looking plug that's about 2-3 inches...
