Good luck with the new job. Hopefully, this is a good thing for you!
My supra has taken a back seat to the task of fattening up the "Kenny Fund". I've got a few big ticket items to pay for.
Including; but, not limited to:
Brian Crower 272's
Head Work
CF Hood
I am also trying to finish up...
I share the same sentiments of being content with what you have. Not that yours or mine fall short in any way; but, I'm pretty happy that my 160k 7M is making ~390 whp. So, while I'd like more power, I'm pleased with what I've got.
Yeah...heat...ugh... I had my car out the other day when it...
That was the first thing I noticed on your graph. How it makes power to redline... If it's a "secret", I understand; but, what has been done to the head? Typical port and polish? Also, what turbo are you running?
...and of course...nice job! :)
I couldn't ever find a black 92 so I'm sporting a 1991 Black Turbo model. I should also mention that mine has the sunroof. :D
Welcome and I too am in for pics of your "needle in the haystack"!
Yeah, the solid front axle is definitely superior.
Soon to be on order:
Re-Ring Kit including bearings
Timing Chain Kit w/Metal Guides
Water Pump
Oil Pump
This will be my fall project... :)
I have been searching hard for seven months to find a 1st gen with the 22RE. That stupid V6 is EVERYWHERE!
You and Steve are correct on the timing chain kit. I went through that with my 84 Pickup. That's pretty much the only weak link on that motor.
If one is going to stick with carbs...
I guess it would've been better placed in the 'Other Cars' section. I didn't think about putting it there. Sorry mods...
But, yes...considering its age and that these things are typically all hacked up, it's pretty nice! :)
