I see some oil leaks below the CPS area. I did replace the CPS with all new seals, but there is still some leaks. It's not from the valve cover gasket and it's not from turbo oil line either. Where else the leak could be? Thank you!
So far, this kit is not good then. Another quick questions, why are flexalite fans so popular? I guess they're supposed to be good. How hard is it to install a flexalite fans kit? Thanks!
I know what is my exact problem now. My 92 Cam is dead. Then I mismatched the wiring connection with the 88 Cam, so the 88 cam is dead too. I just need a new CPS that's all. And the CPS whne it is aligned looks exactly like the one in the picture of the other thread. Many thanks guys!!!
Very helpful, thank guys. Another question though, can I use the 88 CPS on the 92 after I swap the wiring harness? Red go with red, blue go with blue, brown go with brown and white go with black right?
I have my CPS removed and replaced (I didn't mark before I remove the CPS.) My car ran very differently afterwards. There was no power at all. And then it shut down itself on highway. I looked up the Chilton book and re-did everything according to the book. Timing mark is back to TDC, drilled...
I have the same prolem and I did the same thing you did. There are actually some seals at the top cause leaking. I'm waiting for the parts from Toyota. New info will be updated soon.
Hi! I'm totally newbie to Supra MKIII. I have a targa top leak problem on driver side. I asked my friend. He said that even if I go buy the new seals from Toyota dealer, it will not fix the problem completely. Is it true or not? or is there any tricks that you have to do with the new seals? Thanks!
