I think one thing that most people don't pay attention to, is get an alignment before you spend big bucks on tires. If you lowered your car but didn't do an alignment at the new ride height, it can make a big difference.

for stainless tbolt clamps, try to find a local truck supply (semi/tractor trailer supply), they usually have good ones for a good price. auto parts stores usually charge a premium.

stock coils, or stock ignitor? I know alot of people replace the ignitor with the AEM to get rid of multiplex. edit: nvm, i see your not using the stock ignitor. have you tried the 2jzge coils?

Another log, this time from cold start. It started to do a death spiral to almost stalling, so i held the RPM at around 1500 until it warmed up. Lastest gas mileage = 22.5L/100km. 10:1 everywhere it seems....

i understand the reasoning, i just dont agree with it. if my tuner told me i wouldn't be able to open up the tune i paid for and tweak/change things myself, i would find a new tuner.

i picked up a new harness last year, it's SO nice to work with compared to the old crappy one. however, i had a problem with the coolant temp sensor plug, one of the pins wasn't seated properly. so even a new harness can cause issues.

but if you pay for the tune on your AEM, you own it, not the tuner? or am i missing something here.

just learning the settings, did a quick log on my drive to lunch. its super rich, but the only thing ive done so far is change the minimum RPM for o2 feedback to 1100, which seemed to help my spiral of death at cold start.

just buy the kit, they come with the right drill and everything required.
