Saying Goodbye - Take Care SM

Good Luck Chris! I hate to see a member of the family go after so long. You must promise to never be too good to race an MKIII, and will always post the results (Honestly) if such event should take place.

89 turbo afm and 91 model car

Just sayin', the English Police work hard around here sometimes. I was just trying to warn you before they got here.

89 turbo afm and 91 model car

I'm going to answer this before they start flaming you for spelling and grammar. As long as they are both turbo ECU's, they will work.

    Wiring help please!

89 and 91 harnesses are not created equally. I converted an 89 harness to work in my 92 with the help of others in a thread that can be found by clicking on my username, and then "search forum threads" (top of page 3). There are diagrams in there that should help you. It is a bigger nightmare...

    Idle problem

C'mon guys........it's a car forum! Everyone here is not an English scholar. No need to trash a guy for trying to get help. Wants = Once One = On I'm not sure what your problem is, but the raising/lowering of your idle is due to fuel cut once the idle nears 1700RPM. I had the same problems...

    Power steering reservoir

+1 Also, it would be good for this thread to remind everyone to use ATF fluid ONLY in them. If you need to verify this, refer to the pictures above.

What do you carry in your mk3

If I was driving mine, I'd have 50 pounds of tools, and 200 pounds of the most precious cargo a Supra can carry.......my ass.

5 years of Supra ownership... How long have you been in the game?

You youngsters need to pay more attention in school! 1+2+2=4? And yea, if you sold out, there'd be more than one motivation lost.

    Decisions...I have a dilemma!

The logical step would be to keep the better parts for your car. The choice is yours though, as they may get you more out of the one you sell than it will take to fix what you keep.

    Decisions...I have a dilemma!

Blue interior turns purple! Grey is the better choice. It sounds like paint is in order for both cars. Put the good fenders on the 89 and paint it. The 89+ will always bring the better money, because there were so many less of them made and they have the desirable parts, so take care of it.

    ForcedTorque's Slick/Quick Build

I'm finally home from work, and as soon as I get my son something to eat, I will have about 2 hours to work on it. I doubt there will be any start up, as I still need to have the threads in my head straightened out, to be able to put the thermostat housing back on. But, if I get enough done, who...

    ForcedTorque's Slick/Quick Build

No problem Ken, it shouldn't be hard to find, and cheap too. Jay, you'll have a PM shortly. As for the car, Time and Weather have not been kind at all. I did get my intake manifold re-installed this past weekend, and battery cables run correctly. I came in out of the bitter cold (low 20's in...

5 years of Supra ownership... How long have you been in the game?

OMG! Really! Exact same story here, even to the year. I bought my first Supra (85 MKII) in 1992, as my first marriage collapsed. I drove that one for the next 7 years, and never once turned a wrench on it, until it died. Several MKIII's have followed, and I have never been Supra-less since.

    Spedo cable? Can't find one.

Jeff Watson no longer works for Champion Toyota! You can still call, and they will give you the same pricing Jeff was able to give, but I don't know the name of his replacement.

Anyone ever order parts directly from BIC Performance???

I really hope he doesn't close up. We need every good trustable vendor we have. Mike, Randy has a long standing good reputation around here. I wish you luck getting this figured out.

    Integration Relay #2 pic?

Look at Poodle's picture, and you can see an unused mounting spot. There is a small bump that appears to clip into a hole on the mounting stem (on the other end from the one in the picture). They will pull off without releasing the bump, but that is probably the reason so many of them get...

    Integration Relay #2 pic?

I have 3 of them in my hand. 2 of the 3 have the infamous cracked mounting tab on the side, but it also has a mounting point on the other end and the front. I would assume the different mounting points means that it can be found in more Toyotas than just the Supra. But, you could mount it from...
