It can also be the tip/insert. HKS has different tips to "tune" the sound on their SSQV's.. I took my insert off and it went from the whistle to a nice whoosh. Grab a piece of paper, pull it thin and blow on it. It'll make a loud whistle. Same principal.

I have a spare 86.5 harness if you don't wanna hack yours up. Or if you do wanna hack it up, you can always return it to stock when selling. I personally use Toyota's own 86.7 - 87+ wiring harness.

Just go for JDM tail lights like I did (this is Lithium14's car).. They're darker than USDM lights, and are all the same color (USDM lights have a brighter center piece for some reason)
