    Buying a 1992 Supra Turbo

First, be sure to read the quote below my name (PM me if you get it). Next, if you have plenty of replacement parts, it's a no-brainer. The rarity will always be a plus for a 92, there are not very many of them at all. That car doesn't look great, but it doesn't look that bad at all if you plan...

From all I have heard here, I must question if you have a puller to get the pulley off, or will you just use a hammer?

Reasons a BOV wouldnt be Blowing off?

+Eleventy billion I agree with everything Hvyman posted, even the not sure on the bottom nipple part. I too, had this same BOV, and never used the bottom nipple. I never had any problems. I also agree with starting over with all of that T-ing. Did I really see a line running from a 4-Way T...

    Hey you Ford folks!!!

You just had to have something with closeable headlights, but couldn't stomach another 7M? EDIT******** Is that a gay blue supe in the driveway? I didn't think you still had that. And is the 91 gone now?

    Is this worth buying?

First off, There is WAY too much garbage of the turbo kind on ebay. If you have a very good knowledge of turbos, you will know if it is a good deal or not. So, since you ask, I'd say you need to pass on this deal. I'm no expert, but I'd say the amount of stuff in that auction should cost a good...

    Starter possibly?

Put the car in park, or neutral. Set the parking brake! (You could also raise the rear wheels off the ground for safety)Remove the battery cable and the signal wire from the starter. Touch the metal tip of your battery cable to the post where the signal wire goes. If the starter turns over, you...

I could hook you up with a set of caps for $15 shipped. Matter of fact, you could hook me and Kevin (OP) up with this! You send him the $15 for them, and I send you the caps. Long story.

    a quik gauge cluster question.

Swapping a single gauge is really not that difficult. Just pay attention to where things go, it's all phillips head screws. Now how you make a volt gauge work where a boost gauge used to be is a different story. If that info was added to this thread, I would do the swap myself.

If you like metal/death metal, check out Ænimus.

Music is good! I can't see the point of destroying a voice like that though. And they give the song a name? Actually, my daughter's x-boyfriend was the drummer for a band that sounded almost exactly like them, and I always left their shows with the same thought. They kicked ass, but...

    Fan clutch repair

Thank JJ! I would also like to thank you for the igniter ground thread that I believe you did too. My car sports that mod as well. I'll be looking into rebuilding one or more of my spare fan clutches. Back on topic: Are there separate clutches for turbo and N/A, or do they both use the same one?

A big decision... to sale, or not to sale

It is an N/A! As long as you throughly trust your head gasket, it will not give you any expensive trouble. Selling it will never give you enough money to buy anything that you can trust any more than what you have.

I was just kidding about pictures.......I love your car! But, for some reason, your avatar is not showing, as almost everyone else's is. I am no expert on tuning whatsoever, but most of my reading suggests you want to be much closer to the 10.5 under boost than 11.5. I really can't wait to see...

supra hits a wall when boost kicks in

Code 52 refers to knock sensor wiring more often than it does for the sensors. Our cars are old, and therefor have deteriorating wires. I believe it is shaeff who makes the replacement kit for that. Simple wiring won't do it, because it is a sheilded wire. Try the other sensors first, then reset...
