Really? Well, sell your car. ;) George said he'd like to have it also but can't do it right now.
I was about to make a classifieds ad here on SM but I'll hold off.
Don't worry Scott, I'm not going anywhere.
Nate appears to be a nice looking fellow but I'll pass on the screwing :biglaugh:
Nate, you buy my plane ticket back and I'll drive it up to the PNW! ;)
It's okay, people were going to find out anyway. I figured it'd be a DFW person to spill the beans. I do find it funny you're cruising the DFW Craigslist ads. I surf it nationwide also.
Thanks Jay, it'll all workout in the wash. It's still friendly and the kids are doing fine.
To be...
Thanks Zum for outting this. It's because of quotes like what's below is the reason I have not listed it on Supramania. Not being able to have a daily and a supra sucks, but I guess that comes with the world of divorce and child support. I'm not out of the supra game for good though. I'll have...
Doors and windows are where they are supposed to be. Water used to come in right above the mirror but I fixed that. It almost sounds like the noise is coming from inside the mirror. Not really that big of a deal, just an annoyance sometimes when I cruise without the radio on.
So I recieved my diff yesterday and swapped 'em out today. Man that's a lot of work.
Verdict: Car is fixed. It was the diff the whole time causing all the driveline vibration issues.
Now I cannot say it feels 100% but there is a significant difference for the better. No droning like...
I think the MKI is the "real" Supra. ;)
I seriously want an MKII to play with.
If it says Supra on the rear, I want it. When I win the lottery I'll have one of each. :biglaugh:
I was just thinking about you the other day wondering and fearing the worst cause you had not been on here in a while. You've been given another chance at life, make the most of it. I'm glad you're on the mend. Take care.
That IS a limited slip differential.
Wrong. That is an open diff.
If your NA has the sport package, then it's the 4.30 LSD, otherwise it may have been swapped in the past. Either way, you've got an LSD...which is cool! ;)
If your oil has any sign of milkiness and you've been driving it, then rod knock is inevitable, but try not to be so discouraged.
My 91 blew the headgasket very slowly and I drove it a lot while it was in the process. Gases were escaping into the coolant system causing the coolant to slowly...
Yes the gear ratio. You'll cruise at lower rpms on the hwy but will lack a little power around town. NA is 4.30. The 3.73 is also an LSD (limited slip differential)
