This is Dale's car. He is hands-down one of the coolest/whackiest guys around. Eventually he fixed the dents and stuff, painted the car green/black (questionable), but he definitely loves his car.
It's black and looks very integrated into the intake piping, so all you see is a small sensor sticking out.
It's right here after the airbox (hard to see)

90468-04126 LH Bezel "Offset" Clip
90468-04125 RH and LH Bezel "Straight" Clip (2x)
should be no more than $5 total.
As an owner of the first year (86.5), the revision year (89) and the last (92) I can say with confidence, that 89+ bumpers are better. There are no weird angles, the bumper is taller, and the nose piece flows nicely into the cowl.
Here's a pic of the 1st run
housing was painted semi flat black.
I'm going to do the same with these new ones, but I have to find some flat USDM markers first to break up. I'll post pics of the process, it's unbelievably easy!
If you have a blue interior, then you can swap panels and all hardware and look like OEM (like I did on my 89). If you have any other color then you're screwed, as nothing will match color-wise, even if you swap the speaker covers and rivent in the things you need to hold it in place./
Pretty much what I did. I learned stick in my 89, then when I felt ready, I went turbo and BPU. Next I'm going MAFT-Pro and it'll open up some new possibilities.
If you want a MKIV, then a MKIII is NOT the car for you. It is a completely different beast. You'd be better off in a 300ZX or RX7.
That said, any MKIII can be a money pit, whether it's mods or repairs, but one thing is for sure. PLAN EVERYTHING first. You can't just go on and throw parts at...
I dont think he ever finished the dash so the new dude (maybe) swapped in a stock dash.
If you notice the bumper is the same (although a non-matching blue), which was a VW bumper cut in half and placed upside-down. Side pipes and hood also match.
