Can't seem to find it in the TSRM, this valve attaches to the 3000 pipe at one end, and accordian hose at the other end. The actuator line comes from over neat the throttle somewhere:
Bleed your clutch hydraulics and adjust linkage for free play. A clutch that does not fully disengage will do all these things, as well as rapidly accelerate wear on synchro rings.

Take the car to a steering place, throw them a few dollars and ask them to look at the problem.
At least this way you know which component is failing, and you don't replace say a pump when the relief valve on the rack is dumping or similar.
Wish I had a dollar for every time someone has...
These side decals and body coloured wheel cutouts, seen them before?
I have no reason to believe this car did not come off teh showroom with them.
Regards, Andrew.
What could cause BHG symptoms? Heaps of things.
Small coolant leak(rad cap, hoses).
Retarded ignition timing.
Lean fuel mixtures.
Dodgey radiator.
Poor cooling system maintenence (corrosion in water jackets).
etc etc etc.
Regards, Andrew.
I broke down and bought one recently too, after 20 years of working on my own cars. I am not ashamed to admit I may have changed a head gasket unnecessarily in the past too (but it is a god way to calm nerves and see what's going on)!
That EXACT kit is available here under the ABW branding...
