This is a quote from Driftmotion:
I ran the Tokico Blues on my SC300. They are a very firm shock and to me made the ride somewhat harsh. On straight, flat interstate driving however, the car felt like it was on rails.
The hood struts on my Lexus SC400 are getting weak. Will only hold the hood up when its warm.
Oh...wait a tick. I rarely have to open the hood on my SC. 1UZ ftw!:evil2:
The supe...well...the hood is open everyday just about, but with good struts!
Welcome aboard!
Please don't mod that beautiful car and ruin it. It's ok to drive it some. After all, it's a drivers car made for the road. If I were you I'd keep it...and keep it original.
This is how I like to remember the burgundy interiors..

For Pete's sake do not go out and ruin your engine on purpose with the mentality of "Oh it will motivate me to build my other one quicker". It's just plain retarded. Dont' be that guy! :biglaugh:
I looked at a supra a while back with intermittent knocking sounds. The turbo was about to go...
I used a Shaftmasters steel one piece on my old 91 (same car in sig). The customer service was top notch and the car felt great with it, and I'm very particular. Was thinking about getting one for my 89.
