Well in the tuning business, it is even worse.... You get people that are like, The car was running fine. I was driving normally then it did this and this was the outcome (and literaly a motor that requires a bucket and a shovel to pick up). No logs incredibly. So takes a bit of investigative...

    ROD KNOCK in one day!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course. Any company can make custom anything. The question is how much money are you willing to part with to get it done. It won't be cheap and it will definetly be time consuming. As for the crank being toast. You would be surprised at what the 7m Crank can take.

2 step launch control for a supra

I swear I am about to go put my head through some concrete blocks.......... A real two step that has control of BOTH ignition and injection is not detrimental to the Turbo. The Bee*r or ANY other rev limiter that does only ignition cut (I am bolding it and putting it in red this time, next...

    Stroked NA

well remember, that was before they figured that is was not so nice to your skin, hair, eyes, brains, lungs etc. ;) They probably would have used straigh benzene but they knew about the nastys in that stuff from a while back!

    Stroked NA

Probably IRL. They were running 45 PSI on top of the straight methanol. F1 was using tolune cut with n-Heptane to reach the octane requirements. edit: for clarification.

T bone collision with a bicyclist

Apparently you do not understand how I operate or the lawyers either. Facts not hearsay. You said they are not allowed. The California state law trumps you in the very post I posted. Invalidates your "facts". The legality of bicycles on the sidewalk is on a jurisdiction basis and not a...

    Lexus Throttle Body

Niether. I am here to correct ignorant information. CFM is meaningless if there is a restriction in the system. In this case the 7m intake opening, plenum, runners AND the intake ports. Upgrading to a bigger opening throttle body actually nets you BAD low load throttle response as...

    gt42 journal bearing question?

Sorry. No :) Garrett Turbos makes both Ball bearing and journal bearing turbos. They are all designated GT. The differentiating mark is the R at the end. A GTXX is a journal bearing based turbo. A GTXXR is a ball bearing based turbo. So in this case. GT42 is journal bearing, GT42R is...

Electromotive Tec-2 vs MAFT-Pro, Thoughts? Opinions?

Lol John, why would I bring up a 10k system just for the EMS alone when people cry over 4k for the MoTeC M600;) Anyway. EdT.MK3 For a complete listing of standalones....check the sticky thread in the standalone forum.

T bone collision with a bicyclist

Ok apparently I am not making it clear :) If it is not against the law, the cyclist can ride on EITHER the sidewalk OR the Street. Niether is illegal unless iunless it is explicitly stated by the jurisdiction statutes. On the sidewalk, the cylist does not have to flow with traffic. They can...

T bone collision with a bicyclist

well here is the thing about the bike laws in Cali. If he was on the streeet as part of traffic. Then the driver that pulled ahead without checking was in the wrong as they have to yeild the right away to the flow of traffic. If the cyclist was on the sidewalk, the driver of the car is going...

Electromotive Tec-2 vs MAFT-Pro, Thoughts? Opinions?

Not the sensors. The Trigger wheel. And no. It is 60 - 2 (60 minus two teeth). Those missing two teeths are spaced apart exactly like if the trigger wheel were 60 teeths. As for Pics, Electromotive has them in thier site.

    Stroked NA

350hp at the wheels.... i don't see standalone. I don't see higher revs. I don't see massively worked head. Not happening at 6500 rpm redline with a 3.0L NA engine.

Electromotive Tec-2 vs MAFT-Pro, Thoughts? Opinions?

yes those old Tec-2 require a ROM upgrade to get them to play nice with the WinTec software. Electromotive can tell you if they were upgraded or not.

    Lexus Throttle Body

and the other question is what exactly do you "think" is being upgraded? Anyway go big or get out of this playground. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72895
