    HKS Fuel Cut Defender Install

stolensupra the only place to install an FCD is the trash bin. those instructions basically tell you to look at the Toyota TSRM for the wiring information. If you are having trouble deciphering the TSRM, do not install the FCD as this is not that hard to understand.

Man, just picked up another 20pz pf Pepsi throw back... tasty stuff. I have to agree with a previous poster, unlike normal Pepsi where I just want to down it, I sip this and put it down. A bottle last me almost 4-5 hours.. lol. Maybe that is why Pepsi uses the HFCS.

    stock throtle body hp

Don't need to. a short trip to google lane. Reynolds Number (for critical Velocity) which just happens to, in one fell swoop, cover it all http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/reynolds-number-d_237.html and to help along air density = 1.225 kg/m³ (0.0765 lb/cu ft) and since we...

    stock throtle body hp

A little math goes a long way. calculate the internal 2 dimensional area of the throttle body. Then apply math to solve for critical velocity in that given area. Apply some more math to solve for air density and the result will be in grams/s or lb/hr.

    Controlling large Injectors (720cc)

very few "import" injectors are high ohm... very very few. Those greddy are low ohm. dbsupra since the base fuel pressure is not the standard 45 psi. The lower base fuel pressure in essence CHANGES the flow limits of the injector downward. So those 680cc/min at a base fuel pressure of...

    Controlling large Injectors (720cc)

It is not a function of the TCCS. It is the fuel injectors. Even with a standalone, idling big injectors is a chore and a half and sometimes, improbable below 1000 rpm. That is related to the pintle bounce caused by the mass of the pintle, also being low impendance causes a surge in current...

    Controlling large Injectors (720cc)

big injectors of the low impendance variety have pintle bounce at low pulse width. What is pintle bounce? best way is to show you. Paul Yaw over at injector Dynamics. http://www.injectordynamics.com/ID2000.html notice the graph, especially at low pulse width. You see a spike...

Ok folks, just did a massive cleaned up of this thread...... I know everyone is excited about this as it is a very big endevour, but please keep the me 2's or the I buy post out of it. When 3p and crew are ready, they will make a For Sale post or a post accordingly. :) Also please keep...

    Rev Limit

indeed you can have an engine that spins to 18k. If the ports are reaching critical V at 8k, than no matter how much you try to spin after that, the flow will be CHOKED and won't go any faster.

    High quality 160* thermostat?

Now why would that be cheezy? GM (just like ford) has so many parts that it is not even comparable to the import market. A bit of machining to make it work, that is ok!

    E85 Fuel

incorrect. btu per gallon is less but you don't tune any fuel to the gallon. You tune it to lambda. When tuned to lambda, ethanol, methanol WILL produce more power as there is more of it. incorrect. try putting down 800rwhp on the 3.0L/3.2L as supraforums has been doing on e85 v 91 octane...
