Still having this problem. I am also running pretty lean. This all started when I took off the big turbo and put back on teh stocker. I am thinking it may be from an unsealed oil drain fitting at the block. Is that even possible for it to cause this?
I checked my timing and it is good, I also checked the tranny mounting bolts and the driveshaft bolts. Still shakey. It also has a slightly rough idle if that helps.
Here's thread two of my "I don't know what the fuck is wrong with my car" series.
I got my car running recently and when I started it up it had a rough idle. I let it warm up a little bit and backed it up and it shakes while in reverse. It will also shake when it is in drive. I don't...
Just a sheet of stainless steel from Lowe's
Edit: Yeah it is much cooler in the box than it is outside of it.
DAMN Jimi87T that looks REALLY nice! Got any more pictoures of that bay?
Well without any other kind of tuning support the VPC is next to useless. Take it off and save up some money for a wideband and a safc then put it on.....or just blow that sucker up.
Well I just took off the manifold and the crankcase vent tube the tube has a crack about an inch and a half long at the top side, dunno if that's it but it seems that the majority of the oil is around it.
Yeah I was thinking that teh crankcase vent tube may be the culprit as well but it doesn't seem to be coming from there. Where would it be coming from if it is the IC pipe though? Cause there is no IC piping around the leak. I did see a good amount of oil in the top IC pipe though.
