    It's really silly to use a Aristo ECU on the 1jz. because the 1jz is meant to rev if you single it has no balls down low. You need the high revs.

    I'm all about jz's but for that car re-torque BPU and leave the SOB alone, tasteful P&P mods only. P&P meaning real JDM mods HKS turbo 75mm catback, 3" dp KEEP the cat 14 PSI retorque the head HKS 3000 pipe HKS intercooler kit Some suspension. Maybe a 5 SPD. thats all.

    ACT, cltuch masters, RPS all use the same gay strap design which doesn't like higher then stock revs and doesn't like decel/letting off the clutch on the dyno. I'm trying to avoid that mess all together, but it looks like RPS is the only real ones we seem to ehar about failing.. I know a guy...

    The fact that you have asked rebulid or 1uz means you shouldn't even bother with 1uz. To do a 1uz you have to be commited. You need many custom fabed parts which are costly, and not easy to get nor to get them to fit right. I saw 2k somewhere up there.. you are nuts if you think that's all...

    I used a 2.5 ft 1/2 extension with a swivel joint to get them on and off when they where there... Well considering I'll be in there AGAIN to get the broken strapped clutch, i'll put the tops back on. Really that job sucks with just one person. haha
