If you go too high the Coil will overheat split it's case and spew Epoxy and goo everywhere....
There are very specific requirements for dwell, 4ms across the board isn't it...
Do you have a table for voltage/rpm?
We all have a piece of special submersible Hose in our fuel tanks (@ something like $200 per metre) put normal hose in there wait a couple of weeks and see what you end up with...

Plenty of High Hp 7M's getting around with the stock hardpipe and no issues at all..
If you want to spend the $ fine but don't think you're fixing an inherent problem.
The Softline kits on the other hand are a joke plain and simple.

Dunno is it Rubber inside?
The outer layer of rubber hose isn't meant to be submersed and softens in time, the AN fittings "lock" onto the outside of the hose so when the rubber softens they fail...
There is 0 reason to replace the stock hardline..
As I said I personally wouldn't run it again... Trailer it, you might get away with a cheap freshen up and then you can sell it and recover some costs, drive it more and you run the risk of kicking a leg out... and it being scrap..
