Debating clipping up my stock harness to use pigtails for respective plugs (coolant temp, Iac, c1....) is there a cheap place to get stock plugs for such things I would rather have a perfect harness
Edit: maybe that guy on here who makes harnesses would know where to get them

Digikey has worked for me, but you have to know part numbers and such. If you aren't pretentious about your connectors, find other Japanese vehicles at your nearby junkyard. Many of the connectors are the same as on other cars.

Another thing, Tweak'd performance sells the connectors and such as well.

Those coils you got are some of the best you could get. They have the external heatsink. I believe you need to set your dwell to 4.0ms. If you go too high, the coil will automatically spark, which means you would have a dangerous over advanced spark.

I come from a land down under
If you go too high the Coil will overheat split it's case and spew Epoxy and goo everywhere....

There are very specific requirements for dwell, 4ms across the board isn't it...

Do you have a table for voltage/rpm?

Sorry IJ, i should have been more specific. 4ms is max dwell. Tunerstudio calculates the table based on the max dwell it can run vs rpm. I never got into voltage compensation for mine, but I wasn't really trying to squeeze a lot out of the motor. As far as where I got my info about the coils firing early with too much dwell, that came straight from the manual. Lemme find the link and paste it here...

It is in the middle of the page. If this info is wrong, I apologize. I don't like to spout crap info.

As of current, MS cannot do varied dwell time based on load or rpm. I have asked for that feature, but have not heard anything (but as said, it has voltage compensation). Im running 3.7ms and just took out another set of plugs in 1000 miles. Ive been running a .030 gap, and talking to my MS goto guy says I need to actually open the gap up to about .035. That the coil is so powerful a smaller gap actually acts like shorting the coil out. He runs a .040 gap on a 900whp car.

Im going to try iridiums this time tho, one heat range lower at an 8, over the copper 7's I have been running.

Guys on SupraForums were charging the coils to 5ms, but a lot of people were getting the coil break down and advancing there timing and taking motors out. IIRC, its been tested to 4.2ms

JDMFreak, do you want to sell 2 of them coils? Im putting together a 22re and have 2 left over from my set, just need to more. Im doing MS2 on that one.
