The car has been down for some time now.... Driveline problems... Trans cant hold the power even with the Marlin Crawler upgrades. Destroyed 3 of their washers. They are not breaking but are wearing out and damaging first gear. I have spent $2k on fixing transmissions in the last 3 mounts and...
I have been running it for a while now (1100ft/lb version)... Love it very streetable. The thing is that your clutch is most likely saving your transmission right now.. . =) upgrade the clutch = the next thing down the line is going to break or slip (tires)... After I upgraded the clutch the...
I had the same issue years ago when I had the 7M. I did try another regulator but it wanst it. Do you have the 255HP wired without the FP resistor?
Mine was back at the fuel tank return line on the fuel hanger, line was kinked little too much.
This is kind of dangerous and I dont recommend it...

I absolutely suport your statement the spring has great effect on it and it would be nice to play around with different spring rates.
The clutches may not be ceramic.. I dont know for a fact what the material is but it is not coated/deposited on steel plates like the old material. I know...

"HOW TO WIRE A SOARER"
I have looked at his notes and his wiring description is WAY off from what I acctualy had to do or what is displayed on the diagrams. Especialy in the alternator portion of it.
Supras.nl is good source and if you can find the 1jz-gte.com connector mappings they...
The MA70 wire the purple and what ever the other color wire is... You can NOT use those wires they are 180 deg opposite of what the JZA70 wires are supouse to be doing.
MA70 12v=off 0v=on
JZA70 12v=on 0v=off
So You need signals that come directly from the power side of the circuit. BETWEEN...
Look for ELS terminal on the wiring diagram. I believe it is red and yellow. Again if you have more than one input to this wire YOU HAVE TO USE DIODES!!!!
You will mess up you electrical system if you dont.
This is how you wire the A/C
Ok The IDLE UP function is to prevent the engine from bogging down when heavy electrical loads are on. It signals the ECU to increase the IDLE speed. It is not critical for engine operation but it is nice to have.
To make it work correctly you need to use 12v=on signals run them through a one...
The IDL-UP on the JZA70 is "ELS" terminal and is coming from the "TAIL" fuse and it should be 12V=on 0v=off. On the MA70 terminal "LP" it is the opposite and it is coming from the healight relay coil ground circuit. 0v=on 12v=off.
The "STP" terminal is optional the car will be fine without it...
The wires are the charging circuit of the alternator. Just crimp (dont soder heavy wires like that) to the Original 7M alternator charging wire.
Just Like JonnyRedLine was saying....
