those two black cut wires that go into the harness area under the fuse box, go directly to the alternator power wire from the jz engine. those wires used to go to the 7m alternator. just use a butt connector that you can get from sears hardware, it will have 2 set screws and it will be a brass looking tube, it comes with a big piece of heat shrink. use that to connect your new power wire from the jz alt to those two wires.

So for example the red/yellow which is headlight relay used for idle up, and the purple which is idle up for defogger. What wires off the jza70 hanress should hook up to those two wires?

Also the STP signal is not used I guess, or not really important on our cars?

You can not use MA70 IDLE UP signals.... !!!

I just realized what ELS does.. wow basically the engine at idle rev's higher if mass amounts of voltage is required hence headlights... or the rear defogger.. So, this means if I wire the headlight relay wire, and defogger wire, what wire off the JZa70 would I use so that the motor will rev higher.

I need to figure if I can use the ELS, there are only to idle up signals it seems. I need to figure how to wire those in, if I use headlights these will not function the way they should.

Look for ELS terminal on the wiring diagram. I believe it is red and yellow. Again if you have more than one input to this wire YOU HAVE TO USE DIODES!!!!
You will mess up you electrical system if you dont.

This is how you wire the A/C

Alright well. I am not running ANY A/C at all.

I have a red/yellow, and a Purple as you know that have to be wired in to the harness, also if I can figure what I wire that green/White into for a STP signal to the ecu.

The Diode will switch one at a time I guess that is the function so both are not getting energized I presume?

I used the DVOM, and the B2 plug plug on the JZA70 harness has the wire go from the b2 to the ECU, and that is the ELS signal. I guess it is run on the JZa70 to the taillight Fuse or something? I don't understand that, but anyhow. It seems that the yellow red from Ma70 is headlight idle up... so I guess if I wire that in I can only use that.

From what I understand,the ma70 has ( 2 ) idle up's
, and the Jza70 only has one, I don't really understand why it is the tail fuse though.
I Can the

I get the diodes and all of that. What I am asking is the defogger which is PURPLE, and the Headlights which is RED/YELLOW can both of those be wired into the RED/YELLOW no the jza70 harness WITH a Diode..

What Diode would I buy, 12v circuit one and is there a certain type.

Edit: So if I do all of this when it is hooked up, if I turn my headlights on or the defogger a signal from the ecu will make the engine rev more correct?

Are the idle up required.. and what are the affects if I do not hook these up?

That is all I need to know, sorry if your wearing thin here, I am trying to understand all of this. I really appreciate your time.

If you can answer these Q's I will be good for tonight, thank you!

The diodes will allow current when I switch the defogger on to go one way, when I switch it off it will not continue to go back?

I guess I don't understand the function of the diodes I will have to use, and of course I have to use two.

The MA70 wire the purple and what ever the other color wire is... You can NOT use those wires they are 180 deg opposite of what the JZA70 wires are supouse to be doing.

MA70 12v=off 0v=on
JZA70 12v=on 0v=off

So You need signals that come directly from the power side of the circuit. BETWEEN THE CONSUMER AND THE SWITCH.

The diodes are there so that when the defoger is on and the headlights are off you are not back feeding voltage into the headlight circuit!!!

I dont know how to make it any clearer. If you cant wrap your head around this maybe you are little over you head on this project and should let some one else get it done.

BTW IDLE UP (ELS) CIRCUIT IS NON ESSENTIAL... If you cant get it to work just leave it dissconected.

I am not sure if the soarer harness is the same as the jza70, but on a schematic to wire everything they say run the purple wire to a /black/yellow which is 12v switch, alt to charge bat.

This is on the HOW TO WIRE A SOARER harness into a Ma70 on here.

Well I guess I will just have to find a way that is 12v=off 0v = on for this setup, I would like to really get these wired in on the car..

Thanks for your help, I will do more research.

"HOW TO WIRE A SOARER"

I have looked at his notes and his wiring description is WAY off from what I acctualy had to do or what is displayed on the diagrams. Especialy in the alternator portion of it.

Supras.nl is good source and if you can find the 1jz-gte.com connector mappings they are good source. Although the way he does it is opposite opposite of what I did. I wired all the JZA70 body stuff into the factory MA70 connectors. This way it is Plug and Play and easy to follow the factory diagram later for trobleshooting.

BTW do you have a Soarer ECU or JZA70 ecu

I have a chaser ECU, which I think is the same as as soarer? I have been told this. I went over his notes and I AGREE with you that many things are way off right now. I am set with the harness now I guess I will leave the two wires off for now. I get what your saying about the diodes, even if I used diodes, the two wires that go to the jza70 would be correct because of the 12v = on 0v = off, and 12v = off 0v = on.

maybe I will try to link them in somewhere. From what I understand they both are 12v circuits and require more power while at idle. What did you do for those wires on your car?

Can someone please help me. I need to know what the ECU Stop Signal does I read on it and it does somethign along the lines of cutting fuel or somethign what do I wire that into on the In dash harness!
