From what I understand, you can NEVER remove the fact that the car has been salvaged at one time. You can always get a "rebuilt" title and of course have the car made roadworthy. If you are talking about a 1JZ that is another story. You may have more trouble than you want or, on the other hand...
I've personally cut up two of them into little pieces and threw them in the back of my truck, took one to the recycling place and got $35 for it and the other to the junkyard where I paid $18 to dispose of it.
I agree that rep was more of a popularity contest and was abused, but in principle it was cool. What got me was how some people had only 16 posts and hundreds of rep points. I won't say any names JENNY!!! j/k
