but you have to admit tanya, the o/t section is a lot more lively over here than over there in the other place we both frequent.
if i don't like reading about a certain food-related topic, i havn't lost the ability yo turn the page,it makes things more intresting to have those kinds of discussions in here, as long as it dosen't bleed over into trch sections..
I agree that rep was more of a popularity contest and was abused, but in principle it was cool. What got me was how some people had only 16 posts and hundreds of rep points. I won't say any names JENNY!!! j/k

^^I had a bit less than 1000 posts, and a bit more than 1000 rep, But I was no post whore. I avoided every one of those threads, I never recieved or gave rep without reason. I just happened to get a few reps from those with big rep power.

Maybe the rep should not have applied to OT /forsale? It should have been exclusive to the tech sections
