Sounds alot like a ground problem might want to go over them again. You said it was a mapped ecu is there any chance the car losts it battery power. I have heard that those ecu can lose their tunes, i havn't had it happen but i have seen on here that people say it can happen.
Agreed check that fuse and also push the little switches that the door touchs that lets the light know if the door is opened or not. Is the little red light on that show the doors open on your dash on when the door are open?
I would say check your grounds, or your fuses. I had a car act that way some times, it was either it did it or not just came and go as it wanted. I had a fuse that was almost burnt out and it was the ecu fuse might check that.
It was for sale at the same time that i got my sbc supra it was suppose to have around 400 hp according the builder. it had a pretty decent built motor, mid cam, longer rods, forged pistons. so i'm sure it would run with some supras around here.
If this is the same car which i'm almost sure it is. it is a five speed, 350 car so i'm sure with the right rear-end it be as fast as you need it to be.
With the dates that are set right now i can't go, had a week trip planned for a while to spend some time in TN. But if the dates change i would be very intrested in go can probably supply 2 supra if not 3 just depends how soon we finish up one of the other cars.
a Sbc supra is fun but i wouldn' t go through the pains of the swap and the agrevation of nothing being where you need to be. 1jz is much more fun, i had a built 355 sbc supra for about 6-7 months. It would smoke the tires and was fun to do some hole shots in but, it just didn't belong. This is...
I have the other one i was using i just put it on ebay, the car acted fine with it just had a high idle around 1400 rpm but it took gas great and seemed to be fine. the number on my ecu and that was a little different i think that it might by chance have been for a different series 1 1jz and my...
Just got my old ecu back in from Aaron and looks like the caps was all that was wrong so far "Knock on Wood". Other then the idle was a little high on other ecu the car was fine.
