:1zhelp: In the mornings i have to let my car warm up for about 3 or 4 mins before i drive off as otherwise she runs slightly lumpy until completely warm (about 10 mins). As i slow down the revs drop to near stall (300ish)then pick back up to normal, but a couple of times it has actually stalled and its auto. I pulled my codes and it says code 31,which is an open or short circuit in air flow meter signal.I have recently fitted a K&N high flow air filter, could it be because of this? Does anyone have a remedy to this or do i have to get a new meter?
Or would having it tuned do any good? I have also fitted a straight through back box as well if that helps. Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

All of the work done on this car has been with a very tight budget (2 young kids) and free labour (me and my cousin Martin)

Check yours wires, when you put in the k&n you might have moved the afm to much and caused a wire to break or to be come out of the plug alittle.

Visually inspect the plug and harness to make sure it looks ok.

It isnt easy to ruin an airflow meter, unless it has outside help. Over oiled K&N, dropping, etc.
