My interior lights do not go on when I open either of the doors. They never have since I owned the car. The individual overhead lights work when I push the buttons though. What could it be?
Also.. my clock doesn't work. It never has either. What should I look for there?

Agreed check that fuse and also push the little switches that the door touchs that lets the light know if the door is opened or not. Is the little red light on that show the doors open on your dash on when the door are open?

his dome lights work. maybe bulbs burned out or the door switches are bad from rain and wear and tear.
does the cig lighter work?

^ you didn't read the link j3pz posted.
Testing that the lights work with the switches is part of determining that the rivets are bad.

Never mind what I just typed. You just said "his dome lights work." then "maybe bulbs burned out" :nono:

Both the clock and the interior lights share the same main power supply, the 20A "DOME" fuse in the engine bay fuse box - I would check that first, often a fuse can look OK but still be bad as the wires inside can fracture - just swap it out if unsure.

If the fuse was blown the 2 dome lights wouldn't work at all. If I push the buttons they both work perfect. The red door light comes on.. but the lights don't.
I'll check the rivets.

What about the clock??

It was one of the rivets that connect the dome assembly to the connector. I drilled it out and replaced it with a nut and bolt. Fixed! Thanks..

So... I got the lights fixed but the clock still doesn't work. The fuse is good, the cigarette lighter works, the clock doesn't. Anything else I should check??I would like to eventually pick up a super moniter and install it. Is the wiring in place for it?
