    91 vs 92

What he said. As far as the VIN decoder is concerned: Hardtop = Not a Targa. Jeff

    91 vs 92

Most of the questions asked in this thread are answered in my year change list I wrote years ago. As for the spare tire, the MA70 used a full-sized 16x7 steel wheel for the spare, however it was shod with a 205/55R16 tire as opposed to the 225/50R16 tires used on the rest of the wheels...

Late 88 with a 89+ block factory? Possible?

No 89 with the original engine should have a 7M crank. Jeff

Late 88 with a 89+ block factory? Possible?

Blocks didn't change at the same time cranks did. Cranks changed for 1990 model year (08/89), blocks (apparently) changed earlier than this. Jeff

    91 vs 92

1986-1990 = Medium Grey 1991-1992 = Shadow Grey Everything in the interior of the 91-92 is the same between the two years, except that in 92 the leather was made black. Cloth was the same between the two years and everything else like the dash, etc. was the same between 1991 and 1992. You...

Falling in love, all over again

Exactly, it was just a reason for the fact, not saying one is better than the other. Depends on the end goal. PS: Love the MK2/3 seats. Jeff

Falling in love, all over again

Mike was just saying that the reason a MK2 can roast tires through more gears than a MK3 was because it has less ability to keep traction. It doesn't matter, he was just saying it. Jeff

    *What Did You Learn Today.*

Toyota doesn't sell the outer axle boot for the 2009-2010 Corolla 1.8L RH axle, but they do for the LH axle. It's strange. ;) Jeff

    2JZ Position Sensor Voltages

This is for a Haltech Platinum Sport 2000, using PnP harness on a JDM 2JZ-GTE in a JDM JZA80. Preface: Early 2JZ-GTE engines mostly used Aisan position sensors, while later 2JZ-GTE engines exclusively used Denso position sensors. They are very similar, however not 100% identical. I have the...

    Supra Tattoo

If I was going to get one, it would be the correct font/style at least. That being said, I'd never get a tattoo that said anything like "Supra," ever. Jeff

    a different kind of MKIV...

The skirts and rears are Toyota Japan accessories, a LOT of JZA80's over there have them. Chances are they were already on the car, which means really the only exterior stuff done was the wheels and the front lip. Looks pretty nice, I don't really care for those skirts, etc. My brother's car...
