    7MGE Valve covers without FFIM

Wouldn't the ideal setup be to use a 7M-GE valve covers with the throttle setup from an MX83 Cressida (which was a 7M-GE that used the 7M-GTE intake manifold without ACIS)? Jeff

    motor wiring help.

Yeah, the engine doesn't really matter. Use the harness and ECU to match the car. Change 1 or two sensors or connectors if need be. It's the easiest way for sure. Jeff

    motor wiring help.

If I were you, I'd get an 87-88 Turbo ECU and Engine Harness. An 89+ harness will not match up to your body harness and will not plug in. You'd have to start changing connectors, etc. Your best bet is to get the correct harness to match your year. Jeff

What's the little hole in the bottom of the water pump?

Actually only the 87-88 lists the same water pump for N/A and Turbo. 89+ the 7M-GTE had a different part number than the 7M-GE. Poodles, as far as the bearing goes, typically when Toyota enlarges the bearing, the pulley would also change (to provide correct offset for the belt), however the...

    89 cluster in 88

Speedo gearing is the same between N/A and Turbo, and pre-89 and 89+, and between Supras and Corollas and Celicas and Camrys. It's always changed at the transmission, not the speedometer. Since you are changing to 5-speed anyways, using the 89+ cluster makes most sense. The only issue you will...

Speedo inaccuracy- 1JZ/R154 in NA chassis

All speedometers are calibrated the same. All changes are made at the transmission end. What year/engine is your R154 from? You may be able to just change the driven gear. If you have the wrong drive gear, you may have to change that too. Just need to find out where your R154 came from to...

What is this blown head gasket thing I hear about? And Poll.

Stock car, stock engine, stock everything, well maintained, 120,000kms. Replaced with HKS MHG, no problems since then, but only about 40,000kms since then. The BHG happened I think about 2 years after getting the car, perhaps 3. Got the car from previous owner with 96,000kms. Jeff

Haha, so cool. I have a friend here who is a real Coke nut. I'll give him one of them probably, depends how good it is, haha. Jeff

    Can you identify this piece?

It's on the power steering pump, it's not really an upgrade, but it's probably not hurting anything either. Jeff

These Moutain Dew's in your area?

Oh... I want 1L glass Coke bottles with real sugar. :( I had Pepsi Throwback when I was in the States earlier this year, it was quite good as well, and I usually don't care for Pepsi that much. Jeff

    1jz valve stem seals compatibility?

Intake Side: 90913-02090 (Same as 2JZ) Exhaust Side: 90913-02089 (Not the same as 2JZ - Same as 91-97 4A-FE/7A-FE Exhaust Seals) Not sure if 2JZ Exhaust side seals will work, they probably will, but if you want the exact same ones, order intake seals for a 2JZ and exhaust seals for a Corolla...

    Christmas Gingerbread House 2009

Yes, this is why a LOT of candy should be purchased. Never buy just enough to do the house, always get a lot more for everyone who feels like grabbing from the candy bags while decorating. It will end a lot better that way, haha. Jeff

    Christmas Gingerbread House 2009

Yes and no... I mean some people do it, but it's not like everyone does it. Christmas is definitely the time to do it though, if you're going to build one. There are a lot of kits out there, but I find them to be of lackluster quality. Building your own house from scratch takes the cake every...

    What's with the "JDM" everything?

No, JDM means Japan Domestic Market, parts made for the Japanese market. The Supra sold here was for a different domestic market, and even though many of the parts are the same, you could not consider them to be JDM. JDM means Japan destination, in all honesty, it doesn't even have to be made...
